Classes Update

Our classes are filling up now.. Susan Lenart Kazmer's classes are now full for all four days and a wait list has been opened... Jen Crossley and Ro Bruhn's evening classes are also full....

There is still room in all other classes though the space in them is becoming limited..

I found this pic on the net....I have been wanting to do this class myself for a while.. but now, seeing this I am REALLY excited about it LOL

Love this pic too - its an amulet necklace that Laurie made.. the 3D ATCs can be made into necklaces.. which I what I planned to do with one of mine.. prob just make it a tad smaller and make it a pendant...

Swap #2:

This swap is only open to those attending the retreat and its hoped that as many as possible join in.   Please sign up in at CSR Yahoo Database

Full details regarding the swap can be found in the pdf in the files section under "Swap # 2 - Miniature Me".

In summary it involves creating artwork, ATC size that is uniquely you. ie: using your signature technique,  theme, style,  or medium.

Signup Deadline is 1st December 2009.  Please bring all ATC's with you to the retreat and hand in when you register on the first night.  Ruth will swap them out and hand them back over the weekend.

Remember you don't have to wait till 1 Dec to start making these, you can start now and make them in batches. This way when Dec comes round and final numbers are announced, you've already made half if not 3/4 of your quota.

Any Questions on either of the above swaps feel free to post to the yahoo group or leave a comment here as we will check back often.

Welcome

Welcome to our new CSR2010 blog. We toyed with the idea of a newsletter, but found (without adding costly add-ons) that it was restrictive with the images we could add, so have opted for a blog that will be specific to the retreat and where delegates can check back regularly for updated info and special announcements all in one place.

We will still have our yahoo group - and all messages will continue to go to that, the blog will not replace the group. The blog however, will contain a monthly or bi-monthly posting of important info so that its easily accessible without sifting through group posts to find it. We think this will be a great additional tool to you all, especially as the time gets closer and you are looking for more info.
